Directions:Take I-5 to Exit 119 and turn
into DuPont when you get off the highway. The chuch is on Barksdale Ave on the left just
past City Hall.
Historian and musician, Karen Haas will bring the past to
life with her lively presentation of four very different women of the summer of 1855.
Wearing a work dress of the era, Ms Haas will sing their songs and tell their tales of
life in the Puget Sound. The performance starts at 2:00pm in the historic Dupont Community
Presbyterian Church 502, Barksdale Ave 98327.
Storyteller, musician and historian Karen Haas is a lecturer with the Washington State
Humanities Inquiring Minds Series. She brings the past to life with living history
presentations engaging audiences both young and old.
Sisters in Time is the first in a series of 3 free lectures offered by the DuPont
Historical Society, highlighting the accomplishments of real people who lived in 19th
century Puget Sound Area.
