Join in the 24th Annual National Night Out" (NNO) in
the City of
DuPont!
What is National Night Out?
National Night Out is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored
by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and is scheduled
for Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 5-8:30pm. We cordially invite
you to be a part of our National Night Out team.
National Night Out is designed to:
* Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
* Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime
programs
* Strengthen neighborhood spirit and community partnerships
* Send a message to criminals letting them know that
neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
How can I be involved?
âThrow a going away party for crime!â Sign up to be a
neighborhood
block party host! Hosts will hold a block party for their
neighborhood/street and will be visited by police officers and
firefighters throughout the evening. This is fun for all ages!
Interested in being a host?
Go to the City of DuPont's website and download the host application
form. Once it is received, a packet will be sent to you with information about the night's
events.
