DuPont Presbyterian Church Summer Food Drive

Annual DuPont Presbyterian Church Summer Food Drive
DuPont Presbyterian Church will kick off its 2007 Annual Food Drive to benefit the FISH Food Bank July 14-21. On Saturday, July 14th, volunteers from the church, local Boy Scout Troop #472 and the Pioneer Girls will drop off empty donation bags to homes in DuPont.

Residents are asked to fill the bags with non-perishable food items and leave them on their porch by 9:00am the following Saturday, July 21st for pick up. Filled donation bags may also be left on the church’s front porch at 502 Barksdale Ave. during the week of the Food Drive.

Donation bags will have flyers attached with reminder dates and information.

Last year’s Food Drive resulted in almost 600 lbs of food donated by DuPont residents. For more information contact: Jake Smith, 253-964-2446 or Kay Michner, 253-964-2530.
