Volunteers needed for 4th of July Festivities (DuPont WA)

GOT SOME SPARE TIME?

Hello everyone, my name is Anna Skretting.  The Residential Owner's Association is currently planning the 4th o f July celebration and needs your help as a volunteer.   This is a very fun filled event for all.  We are recruiting to help for areas such as: Crowd Patrol on the parade route, Trail Patrol during the event to ensure no fires are started by fireworks and to help with the numerous activities that will go on throughout the day.

This year's theme is The Country Fair.  We will be planning events to take us back to the easier days of life. So come one and all to help make this year's event even better than previous years.

I also want to say "thank you" to the City of DuPont as a whole for helping, attending and most of all, for supporting our town.  We are proud of our City and want you all to feel the same.  All of us show our support best by volunteering.

8AM-10:30am Pancake Breakfast at Clocktower Park
9:30am Parade Staging Begins (Historic DuPont)
10:30am - Parade Begins
10am - Bike, Buggy & Pet Parade Staging begins on Thompson
11am - Bike, Buggy & Pet Parade Joins Historic Parade
11:45am - Opening Ceremonies (Greeting from Mayor Young, Reading of Winning Essays, National Anthem)
12pm - Carnival & BBQ Begins
2pm - Event Concludes
