WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN EGG IS FOUND?
Hopefully the finder will follow the instructions inside the egg as soon as possible.   Once and egg has been found, and confirmed found, it will be noted as found below when and where it was found.  PLEASE DON'T EMAIL ME OR CALL ME TO ASK IF AN EGG HAS BEEN FOUND, ALWAYS CHECK THIS PAGE.  Below the sponsor logos you can find out information about the winner and the interpretation of the clues.

Please remember
This is a fun event so please be respectful of the community. Eggs will not be hard to find so there is no need to destroy anything to find them, you just need sharp eyes and a sharp mind in figuring out the clues.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU GO HUNTING:
1. All eggs are outdoors.
2. All eggs are at ground level.
3. No egg is on anyone's residential property.
4. No egg is buried, but may be covered or very well hidden!
5. No one needs to destroy anything in our town to find them.
6. If you find an egg, instructions inside the egg will tell you what to do.
7. Be safe! Remember you are hunting at your own risk. There is no need to put yourself in any danger of hurting yourself.
8. The clues will be your best guide to find them. Figure them out and they will lead you right to them.
9. The eggs are NOT hidden in places where you can harm yourself (i.e. in road medians, over fences, over walls, climb trees, go inside of a blackberry bush, etc). If where you think it is has even the remote possibility of hurting you, it is NOT THERE.
Good luck and have fun!

Here are the clues to each corresponding egg:

Golden Egg #1 (Status: Found! 4/1/08)
3/15: There may not be a grocery store nearby, but there is a golden egg and that's no lie.
3/18: DuPont is filled with symbols of pride, look near these areas but not right beside.
3/25: Go down to Cigar/Wine and unscramble the Golden Egg letters, if you figure out the clue you'll know where to look better. (Three words: South of Flags)
4/1: A small patch of grass is what you should find, look by it because there is gold nearby.
Location: Fenceline in DuPont Station between Viva Mexico and Venture Bank. The egg was located under a small patch of grass along the fenceline inline with the "DuPont -->" sign. The family that found it today has been looking for eggs the past few years and was even at the kick-off event this year. That Bonus Clue must have helped! Next year, come to the kick-off!

3/18: Some people here take out a book, but what they really should do is join their kids and look.
3/25: Go down to Bruceski's and unscramble the Golden Egg letters, if you figure out the clue you'll know where to look better. (Yehle Village)
4/1: I see something purple and something green, but under something natural is where I can be seen.
Location: Garry Oaks Park playground (corner of Garry Oaks and McNeil) in Yehle Village under the first step on log pilars where the rope climb is located.

Golden Egg #3 (Status: Found! 3/29/08)
3/15: You just might find this egg on your way to Grandmother's House.
3/22: Husband and wife cross at this place, then look to the North before their backspace.
3/29: Go down to Forza and unscramble the Golden Egg letters, if you figure out the clue you'll know where to look better. The words were "Second Location", as in the second location of Fort Nisqually.
Location: Along the back fenceline of the 1843 site of Fort Nisqually right near where the Southeast Blockhouse once stood. The "husband and wife"? The Tolmie's who were the first Factor's who stayed at the Factor House inside the fort. Just south of the fort, the streets Tolmie Ave and Tolmie St cross.

wpe2.jpg (4346 bytes) Golden Egg #4 (Status: Found! 3/16/08 4:10pm)
3/15: Something old is something new, if you know our town history you'll get the clue.
