About Zoolights at Point Definance Zoo and Aquarium:
Zoolights is celebrating its 20th anniversary with fun for the entire family. Zoolights is one of the best holiday lights display in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area with 70 magical displays and over half a million lights. The lights display is brilliant with animal themes, as well as local landmarks and holiday scenes. Zoolights also features live performances, carousel rides, animal encounters, family photos, and discounted gifts.

Zoolights Holiday Lights Schedule: Zoolights hours are 5-9pm from November 23, 2007 through January 1, 2008. Zoolights is closed November 26-28, December 3-5, and December 24. Nearly every night, there are also Zoolights live performances included with admission. Most performances are by local artists or school groups.

Zoolights Tickets: Admission to Zoolights costs $5 the day of the show at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium front gate on Monday-Thursday, and $7 on Friday-Sunday. Zoolights tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 and used any day of the week. Advance Zoolights tickets can be purchased on-line from the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.

Paul Titus Carousel at Zoolights: In 2005, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium added the Paul Titus Carousel to the DeFalco Family Pavilion at Milgard Plaza, just inside the Zoo entry. The carousel is normally open daily from noon to 3pm, but it will also be operating during Zoolights. The carousel is a re-created 1917 C.W. Parker carousel with horses and endangered species hand-carved by the Washington Antique Carousel Society. The carousel will be closed until 7:30pm on December 16.
