Come out and celebrate Independence Day in DuPont, WA!  This year's parade is even BIGGER and BETTER than previous years with marching bands, more classic cars, and even a few surprises!

Our Grand Marshall for the parade this year is DuPont's own Linda Cumberbatch, our former Deputy Mayor and Town Volunteer Extrodaire, will be riding proudly in an ultra-classic car (pictured below) just behind the marching band.  Mayor Tamera Jenkins and her husband will also be honorably driven in style too by a one of kind classic!

After you eat, walk anywhere up Thompson or head over towards Haskell by Chloe Clark Elementary because the Main Parade kicks off later (see parade route below).  Parade participants should start lining up at XXXX in the Historic District of DuPont one block south of City Hall.  All float parade participants must be pre-registered by XXXX.  Check in with XXXXX, the Parade Coordinator, to find out where your spot is in the parade.

The parade will wind its way through the Historic District of DuPont and into Northwest Landing by Chloe Clark, then work its way along McDonald to then meet up with the Bike, Buggy and Pet Parade participants and flow in right behind the main parade.

Then the entire parade makes its way towards McNeil where it will then turn left onto Center Drive as it works its way towards DuPont Station.  The entire parade will march down Wilmington Drive and turn in front of Venture Bank and head towards Clocktower Park.

As the main parade disbands in the State Farm parking lot, the Bike, Buggy and Pet Parade will continue on to Clocktower Park where the celebration and activities will be located.

Come on down to Clocktower Park for lots of family fun, games, contests and activities for the whole family.  This year's theme is The Olympics.

Bruceski's Buffalo Wings & Pizza Co will be sponsoring this year's 4th Annual Chicken Wing Eating Contest!  If you haven't signed up now, you still can the day of the event.  Bring your cameras!!
